Bromeliad

$220.00

This hauntingly beautiful print is one of six botanical patterns in the Collected Patterns Black & White Giclée series.

Bromeliads are generally hardy plants, ideal for the harsh climate of the subtropics. Like the Caladium, its decorative qualities were greatly admired by Walter Hill, who propagated them in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens. He distributed thousands of cuttings to home gardeners around Brisbane in the late 1800s, which is one of the reasons they’re so prevalent today. A wonderful legacy of a visionary botanist.

Digitally printed on Hahnemühle 100% Cotton Rag Paper with Epson long-life pigment inks by Brisbane’s most esteemed archival printer, this print is truly gallery quality. It’s one of a very limited edition of only 10 impressions and is highly collectible.

Each print is signed, numbered, titled on the back and wrapped in acid-free tissue. Also included are details about the print, the series it’s part of and confirmation of the edition number purchased.

This print is unframed and will require framing for display. Due to the fragile nature of the ink, the print can be shipped direct to your framer, and this is recommended. If you prefer the print to be delivered to you, avoid touching the surface, as it will mark.

Ships worldwide in a strong, non-bendable tube.
