This exquisite letterpress print is one of six botanical patterns in the Collected Patterns Bunya series.

Native to Queensland, the Bunya Bunya is sacred to the Aboriginal peoples and groves were often governed by a particular tribe or family. It was also one of Walter Hill’s favourite trees and as the curator, he planted an avenue of them in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, which became a fashionable Sunday promenade for the social set during the late 1800s.

Printed on beautiful handmade Magnani Incisioni 650/5 Smooth White 100% Cotton Rag Paper with rubber-based inks using an original Heidelberg Windmill Letterpress, this print is one of a very limited edition of 20 impressions and is highly collectible.

Each print is signed, numbered and titled on the back, wrapped in acid-free tissue and presented in a beautiful custom envelope, perfect for gifting. Also included, are details about the print, the series it’s part of and confirmation of the edition number purchased.

The frame pictured is not included, however, frames are widely available and inexpensive, like the beautiful selection at Country Road. The print fits a standard frame with a 4×6″ window mount.

Ships worldwide in a flat, non-bendable envelope.
